Since I've been so remiss in my blogging

I thought I'd post a link to what took up quite a bit of my free time over the last few weeks.

Also of late, Kim and I have been trying to plan a new fence in the backyard to give Jenny some security. We've had a few hiccups, but hopefully we'll have some plans firmed up in the next few days.

Several observations:
1. I wouldn't want to get in a scratch fight with any of them
2. AWESOME reflections and blending them in the water.
3. You are really doing a GREAT job of shading and taking advantage of all the tools of the trade.
Very cool, Bry

Thanks!

1. You'd probably win, actually. I get the impression from Hindu art (where even the male gods typically have long nails) that the nails are more a sign of no physical labor - almost a glorified effeteness - so the nails are probably really soft or would crack easily. Of course, their all-seeing eyes would probably turn the scratchfight more in their favor again. ;)
2. Thanks! I basically just flipped each part of the image and dropped it in as a translucent layer, then erased the parts that were difficult because the reflection would obviously not look just like the flipped body. So I was just lazy.
3. Thanks again! I have so very much more to learn, though! When I go through DeviantArt, I realize just how much of a novice I am!
